The Ribeira Brava tour follows Madeira’s south coast, departing from Praia da Foz and paddling along the cliffs to the south and west towards Lugar de Baixo, with breathtaking views that can only be appreciated from a stand-up paddleboard.

How does booking work?
Bookings are made by phone or message (+351 914 190 623).
What if the weather is not favourable?
If we cancel due to adverse weather conditions or other reasons, you receive a full refund or free rescheduling — the choice is yours.
Can I cancel or change the date?
• Cancellation by the customer at least 24 hours before the tour starts: full refund.
• Cancellation by the customer less than 24 hours before the tour starts, or failure to attend (no-show): no refund.
• Cancellation by GLIDE SUP Tours due to sea or weather conditions: full refund or free rescheduling, at the customer's choice.
How do I get to the meeting point?
Each participant arranges their own transport — transport is not included. The meeting point is described above.
Will I receive photos from the tour?
Yes!
Photos are included in the experience at no extra cost. If you want to bring your phone, waterproof bags are available (devices remain under your own responsibility).
What items should I bring on the tour?
Beachwear, sunscreen and water. Sandals are mandatory, due to the hot sand.
I've never done SUP. Can I join the tour?
Absolutely — this tour requires no previous experience. You only need to know how to swim; we handle the rest, teaching you the technique with the guide before entering the water.
What is the minimum age to participate?
From 6 years old on a shared board with an adult. Solo paddling from 12 years old.
What time should I arrive?
At Praia da Foz, please arrive 15–20 minutes before the scheduled time.
